ITINERARY
15H00 - 16h00 Meet up with the guide at the Thiene Castle, and a guided tour of the castle
Thiene Castle is considered to be the largest Gothic building of the fifteenth century, which was used in the Vicenza area as a civil dwelling; it is an extraordinary example of a pre-Palladian villa, the only one of its kind, both with regard to its architectural features, as well as its function. It is the cornerstone in the evolution of the Venetian villas.
16h00 – 16h30 Transfer to Lugo di Vicenza
16h30 – 17h30 Guided tour of Villa Godi Malinverni, the first Palladian villa.
Villa Godi Malinverni was the first villa designed by Palladio. The purchaser was Gerolamo Godi, who had it built for his son Antonio.The project was completed in 1542.
17h30 – 19h00 Transfer to Breganze to visit one of the many wineries in the territory, and tasting of DOC wines.
19h00 Return to place of departure.

Cost of the excursion: € 40.00
The price includes the entrance fee, and a guided tour of the Thiene Castle, as well as the entrance fee and a guided tour of Villa Godi Malinverni, and wine tasting at the Breganze wine cellar.
Minimum number of participants: 10
Anything not mentioned above (tips and entrance fees to visits not provided for in the overall cost) is understood to be excluded from the package price.
TRANSFER FROM THE HOTEL: The transfer from the hotel is excluded.
Possibilty to provide a pick up for a minimum of 10 people.
In the case of the organisation of a pick up, departure times from the hotel will be announced the day before the excursion.
